Elder Vegetables Stall Caught Spraying Pesticide on produce to combat against Cockroaches
A video where circulated online in the past two days after an elder woman who were spraying pesticide on the produce due to facing cockroaches problems on her stall which is located at Bangkit Road in Bukit Panjang. Which there are netizen who expressed concern on her act and some other even mentioned that the stall has been messy for a long time.
I saw this auntie use Baygon to spray vegetables and garlic. Can see insects running around. I just want to know is this acceptable?

The woman who caught on camera spraying the pesticide mentioned that she did not spray it directly at the vegetable and she has stopped spraying pesticide on the vegetable now. The woman also mention that she has been having headache with the cockroaches problems and having problems to eradicate them. The elder has been operating the stall for past than 10 years now but the stall has been facing a hygiene issue for quite some time. The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) are aware of the incident and investigation are ongoing now.
