The new NS Fitness Improvement Training (FIT) programme will be starting from 1 April and currently there are 13 sites where the national servicemen will undergo training with this new programme. Where there will be replaced by a new 10 session programme. And Nsmen will be able to choose from at least six different NS Fit training activities through the ns.sg portal from March 25.

Now for those who are unable to pass their IPPT can go for the 10 voluntary IPPT training session and participate in the 20 remedial training session, with each NS Fit session lasting up to 60 to 75 minutes and can easily fit into NSmen’s busy schedules. This programe s also one of the initiatives to collabroate between the SAF, Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Sports Singapore (SportSG). The Quick HIIT programme, will also conduct a seven days a week at malls, community spaces and SportSG facilities where it features short burst of high-intensity exercise which build strenght, endurance and aerobic fitness over time.
