A Man Escapes From BMW as it burst into Flames on BKE and It is Completely burned in the end

While a man was driving his BMW on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Lester Cher notice some burning smell inside his car and little did he know that the smell would eventually end up into a huge flame which will completely enrage his car and it requites the attendance of firefighters in the afternoon 6 March.

There was no warning light or messages and the engine was fine before the fire, and as he was driving, he initially dismissed the smell as coming from outside, the white smoke that was soon emitting from the passenger-side air-conditioning vent gave him cause to pulling over. Yet later, the smoke didn’t cease off but instead get darker and heavier.

He later could hear an audible sparking noise as he removed the lid of the fuse box behind the glove compartment and later he proceeds to alert emergency services and kept a distance away from his car which he fears it might explode. Expressway Monitoring Advisory System (EMAS) soon attended to the incident and attempted to fight the fire with a portable extinguisher but it wasn’t enough to put out the fire and later it grew bigger and the car was totally engulfed by the flames.

Luckily the BMW was still under warranty and had actually replaced its fuse just two days prior to the incident and no mods he did on the car.
