Lau Pa Sat’s Switch Room Catches Fire on 7 Mar with 50 People Evacuated By Police and SCDF
A fire has broken out at Lau Pa Sat Switch room on 7 Mar Evening and visitors witnessed a worrying sight when white smoke started coming out from the switch room of the food centre, while the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police arrived at the scene and evacuated 50 people.
The fire involved power cables in the switch room and the fire is now under investigation.
