With now, all Singaporeans and PR folks are free and you will only have to pay for tickets to special exhibitions and the galliers on the first floor revolve around stories of trade, with stories of Khoo Teck Puat gallery where you can follow this narrative beginning from a collection which features from the famous Tang Shipwreck.
With more than 1,000 pieces of ceramics, gold and silver displayed you will get a glimpse of Indian Ocean treade and globalisation dated back to Tang Dynasty during 830 AD. Then you can check out the Singapore River Gallery where you can learn more about its history and how Singapore transformed into our cosmopolitan city of today.
As you make your way up to the second floor, you will be greeted with sculptures, painting and rituals objects which are from Christian to Islamic art which descibe the influences in the society. Here you can find Ceramics gallery which showcase a slew of magnificent Chinese paintings, calligraphy and ceramics and more.
