Rare Secretive Bird Seen in Tampines Sitting at McDonald’s High Chair While Waiting ACRES Arrival
Tampines West were treated a rare sight as a user named Mable Tan shared photos and videos of a secretive black bittern where the bird was chilling on a high chair at McDonald’s after the bird which seems to have trouble flying was picked off the ground by a Grab deliveryman and an uncle held it neck and pour some water to let the bird have some water.
Tan also called ACRES to inform them about the bird but 20 minutes later, the bird had been placed on the high chair by the GRAB personnel and the black bittern flew away before the ACRES could arrive. Black Bittern is often a secretive bird which tends to hide among reeds for a long time and it can be found as far as Indian subcontinent to southern China, Southeast Asia, and northern Australia.
