Up to 400 Animals Babies Will Arrive at S’pore Wildlife Park in 2020
There will be great news to four wildlife parks in Singapore where there will be 400 babies coming from 107 species, born or hatched in 2020 and among these newborns are the 29 species which have been listed as threatened under the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species, among this baby animals, the most recent one is a pair of Malayan tiger cubs which they are born on 27 December 2020 and it was the first successful birth of Malayan tiger at Wildlife Reserve Park since 1998.
Another new addition at Night Safari is the Mayan tapir calf named Bintang on 29 June 2020 and it has transitioned from two toned coat to the one associated with adult tapir. There are also a southern three banded armadillo duo, Rocha and Rolar where they have given birth to the little one as Bento on 5 September 2020.
While at Singapore Zoo, the tree kangaroos Makaia and Nupela has welcome their new male Joey on 4 February 2020. While the River Safari has welcomed the birth of three West Indian manatee too. This will indeed bring new cute attractions to all this wildlife part around Singapore with these new cute babies for sure.
