Islamic Restaurant Turns 100 yo in April With Free Chicken Briyani to Celebrate Anniversary
If you love Islamic food then check out the Islamic Restaurant which will be approaching their 100th anniversary soon as this coming April 2021, this establishment along the North Bridge Road will be marking their big occasion by giving out 2,021 packets of chicken briyani. Established in 1921 by Mr Abdul Rahiman, the restaurant is now being run by Mr Kalil, who is the third generation of the family.
To celebrate the occasion, Islamic Restaurant will be handing out a total of 2,021 packets of its famous chicken beryani or briyani to frontliners and the public. And they aim to hand the food to staff of 6 local hospitals on a distribution to frontliner workers on 31 Mar and will last over 5 days too.
This is really a big effort to give back to the society and kudos to Islamic Restaurant for such move.
