WhatsApp New Policy With New Changes Which Allow You To Continue Using It but with Limited Function
After facing the backlash from the new privacy policy, the WhatsApp has come up with a list of details changes that a user could face after ignoring their terms by the May 15 deadline. Now you can continue using your WhatsApp without accepting the new privacy policies however you will lose some key functionality.
For a short time you will still able to receive calls and notification but won’t be able to read or sent a message from the app. Which lead to two options such as you have to give in and accept the new privacy policies and download your chat history and move to another messaging app.
For now, WhatsApp mentioned that a user can still able to accept its new privacy policy after May 15 and get back to using the app with full functionality however once the deadline is over and if you have not clicked the accept button, your account will be classified as inactive. Which inactive account will be deleted after 120 days.
Alternatively, you can migrate your WhatsApp data to Telegram that the latter offers. You can move your WhatsApp chat including media and documents from personal as well as group chats with a new chat export feature in Telegram.
