Donate your unopened or unexpired CNY Snacks to Migrant Workers to Lower Food Wastage
With the Chinese New Year holiday which will be coming to an end soon, perhaps you might have too much food left over on the Chinese New Year and you might feel like wanted to stop eating it if you don’t want to let this food go to waste. As the local community initiative ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR) where they are collecting unopened and unexpired CNY snacks and will pass it to migrant workers at their worksite, construction area and dormitories.
IRR volunteers are spread across the island and donors can contact them via WhatsApp to arrange for a time and place to make the drop-off, The full list of locations throughout Singapore can be found here.
