Some Best Historical Trails In Singapore for Your to Learning and Walking

If you are having some free time, and you wanted to explore some landmarks and get to know the stories behind some of them where you can have a learning session while having a day out.

Singapore River

The Singapore River has served the artery of international commerce that drew people all over the region to work, trade and seek their fortunes on this island where you can enjoy flowing past modern skyscrapers and historic buildings and under bridge with interesting stories.

Fort Canning Park

Here you can find colonial era relics and learn more about the paramount roles in the defense of the island during the times of war an even before the British arrived when it served at the resident of malay Royalty.

Former Ford Factory

This National Monument in 2006 where the first auto assembly plant in Southeast Asia where British Forces surrendered Singapore to Japanese Army in 1942. Which is now a museum through pictorial exhibits and film documentaries.

Fort Siloso

Those who enjoy a wander around the World War II related sit then you can check out Fort Siloso on their story of Japan’s victory through the resistance hero Lim Bo Seng and Force 136 and the local civilian experience during the Japanese occupation. The main attraction is the sprawling structure of the fort itself, complete with coastal gun, winding tunnels and treetop trail.

Queenstown

There are things to learn about this 60 years old estate in Singapore where it was named after Queen Elizabeth II to mark her coronation and tackled the over crowding problems in Chinatown where the heritage trail school and pastel coloured HDB blocks that still stand as well as the iconic landmark which has defined the Queenstown.
