River Hongbao 2021 Will Take Place at Gardens By The Bay From 10 – 16 Feb

The River Hongbao (RHB) is back again despite the Covid-19 constraints where there will be both hybrid physical and virtual event to take place at Gardens by the Bay from 10 February to 16 February. Where visitors are required to pre-register by booking slots online before heading down, where each day time slot is only 90 minutes while the night time slots is 120 minutes. There will also be a cap of 2,000 visitors per time slot and registration opens from 3rd February 11am.

Fireworks and live performances will be absent from this year while pre recorded videos of the students introducing the exhibitions contents will be available on RHB website and onsite visitor can access these by scanning the QR code at the exhibition, and there will be 24 giant lanterns featuring icons like a peacock, a pair of butterflies, 12 zodiacs, and 18 meter tall God of Fortune will be scattered throughout the outdoor gardens.
The usual safe management measurement will apply at the physical event with SafeEntry check-ins, fever thermal screening and provision of hand sanitisers. In addition, more than 100 volunteers, safe distancing ambassadors and uniformed auxiliary police officer will be deployed to prevent crowding and ensure visitors adhere to safe management measure.
