This means the resident in the area no longer need to take feeder bus to Sembawang or Yishun MRT station but instead they can just ride the MRT from Canberra station! This is the missing link to the Sembawang-Yishun MRT is complete and the rider do not need to be so hassle!
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has made a cute infographic video announcing this in a Facebook post on Thursday (10 Oct) and reminding the residents in the north that they can look forward to the station’s opening on 2 Nov.
With the new station opening, you can expect the journey to town (Orchard or Jurong East) 10 minutes shorter, in which the LTA had earlier informed Singaporeans.
