MOE allow Students to not Wear Secondary School Uniform if They Can’t Manage to Buy in Time
With the Secondary students which will be going to school first in 2021 and the Ministry of Education has announced on 29 December that if the students didn’t manage to purchase the school uniform in time, they are allowed to reports in with their physical education attired or primary school uniform instead. As in response to the hot demand causing bottlenecks of school uniform stocks.
MOE also mention that students will be given more time in the first few weeks of January 2021 to buy school uniforms. As Secondary school will reopen in 4 January 2021, which means parents has less than a week to get ready to purchase all these school uniform. This year, with the unprecedented mad dash for uniform is most likely due to the ongoing pandemic where school is working closely with vendors to provide home deliveries to parents who are buying uniforms and books online.
