MZS Family Karaoke Get Suspended till 31 Jan 2021 after Customer Consume Alcohol After 10.30 pm
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Tourism Board (STD) has investigated a breach at MZS Family Karaoke where the karaoke has allowed its patrons to consume alcohol at 12.05 am. Where 51 individuals were being investigated due to breaching safe distancing measure.
The incident which happens on 25 December, where Singapore were still in Phase 2 as social gathering is not more than 5 is allowed at outside, plus F&B outlets are not allowed to accept booking from a larger group of 5 people even if they are split across multiple tables. And all alcohol must be served until 10.30 pm only.
Therefore, MZS family Karaoke was ordered to close for a period of 20 days from 25 December – 13 January 2021. Other than this, seven other F&B outlet were fined too, which are:

- Indian Xpress Bar & Restaurant, 42 Campbell Lane
- ABC Nasi Kandar, 67 Desker Road
- CHICHI, 92 Amoy Street, #01-01
- Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore, 333A Orchard Road, #04-01/31
- Coffeesmith, #01-09/09A, Gateway, 277 Orchard Road, Orchard
- Manpei, 5 Magazine Road, #01-01
