Cyclist Recording Car Accident and Gets himself Smashed Into a Car too

On 27 December, on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, where one footage of the incident has gained nearly 2,000 reactions where a footage of a group of cyclist were going out for a normal cycling day as they happen to cross by an accident which involve 2 trucks.

Where during the accident area time, a cyclist were busy recording and take the footage of the truck accidents somehow ended up himself in another accident. LOL! The impact when he crashed into the behind of some stopped car sent him flying and both wheel off the grounds. As this car is allowed to park along Yishun Dam on the segment of westbound side is allowed on Sunday and Public holidays, between 7pm and 7 am. Which is marked with one continuously yellow line.

The post were labelled the incident as a hit&run and the car owner has made a police report. Where then the comment on the Facebook were mostly critic the cyclist where the cyclist didn’t compensate to the car owner and other also mentioned that cyclist are required to register their ride on the road or purchase 3rd party insurance.

And did you all know that since 1st August, all cyclist are now allowed to use mobile devices while riding and only can use it while mounted it on their bicycle, for those who are caught can be fined up to S$1,000 and jailed for up to three months. This applies to users of all vehicles regulated by the Active Mobility Act, which includes PMDs, PABs, and bicycles, as well as Personal Mobility Aids (PMAs).

So this is the reason why whenever you are riding or driving, it is fun to play or use the mobile devices especially some road accident appear and busy recording it or telling the public about it, but within a split seconds, you can end up shoving some big object behind and cause yourself a big accident.
