Tokyo Auto Salon 2021 Will Go Virtue Due to Covid-19 Pandemic
In 2021, the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) will not be held as normal like the previous year which this event will usually take place in January, as the rising number of Covid-19 in Japan where the organizer of the event has announced that the transition of a physical event into a virtual one. WHere it will be free for all to experience from 15 January. As Japan now has recovered a total of 203,000 covid-19 cases with a death toll of almost 3,000 people.
Currently, TAS will be issuing refunds with details to set announced later on for those who have purchased the tickets for the 2021 TAS and the event organizer is working with exhibitors to deliver to annual car festival to its fans despite the restrictions. Where this event will be technically taking place and not canceled as the move is similar to this year’s Sema Show where it shifted to an online format called SEMA 360 instead.
