US Covid-19 Has Surpassed 18 Million Mark which is World’s Highest Absolute Number of Cases
The US has surpassed 18 million Covid-19 cases this week, which is the world’s highest number of cases as well as the most deaths related to the virus. Which it has a total of 18,006,061 reported cases on Monday evening and more than 319,000 deaths. The country begins administering the vaccines a week ago and has given approval to the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna.
As states and cities now have varying levels of restriction to slow down the virus spread but the previous President Donald Trump has repeatedly neglected its seriousness and currently, the President-elect Joe Biden has been far more cautious, urging mask-wearing and social distancing rules.
Currently, Biden has received the Covid-19 vaccine live on television on a campaign to boost the American’s confidence in the jabs after the high numbers of infections.
