The Actor, Chew Chor Meng who is known for his F&B ventures of 888 Mookata and Famous Zhou has recently opened another food venture business which is the Famous Pao Fan in a food court at Sultan Plaza. Where you can find each bowl of food offered here range from $4.50 to $16. And the name of the stall actually translates literally to submerge rice at an affordable price.
You can find servings from prawns, fried red grouper, or Kurobuta pork slices, as well as clams, egg floss, and crispy rice puffs steeped in a flavourful broth. This will comes up to the most pricy version which is the whole lobster, clams, and egg floss for $16.
Since the shop has open, it has seen long queue which can go up to the food court entrance on weekends, while the queue is shorter on weekdays. So if you are planning to check out this shop then perhaps you should plan to visit it early or on weekdays to avoid a long queue.
