Google Offers Latest Nearby Share App for your Easy Transfer Wirelessly Available for Andriod 6.0 above
Earlier in August of this year (2020), Google officially launched the Nearby Share function for file transfer. At that time, according to Google’s introduction, this function will be launched on mobile phones running Android 6.0 or higher. You can quickly download it on Android Transfer files, links, pictures, etc. with the phone keys. Today (December 4) Google announced that it will add a new feature to this feature, which is to allow users to share apps on the Google Play Store.
Like other files transferred earlier, Nearby Share will automatically select the most suitable transfer protocol, including Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth Low Energy), P2P WiFi, web instant messaging (WebRTC), and other solutions for transmission. It means that you don’t necessarily need to connect to the network to be able to transmit. At the same time, Google also said that this new feature will be promoted within a few weeks.
To share applications with other users, users only need to open the Google Play Store application, click the hamburger menu in the upper left corner to enter the “My Apps & Games” page, and then select the “Share App” option. In addition, Google also predicts that this feature will be open to Chromebook computers in the future.
