Nurlieda Khaleda Mohd Azmi, 20, a second-year medical laboratory technology student from the University of Malaya said that the tent was set up by her father Mohd Azmi Ahmad, 48 and she use to go to the town at 3 KM away just to get a decent internet speed connection however due to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Kelantan for 2 weeks from 21 November, now her father decided to set up a tent for her at her house in Bukit Petai Tujuh here.
The tent consist of some simple chairs, a table, tent set up around 30m away from their house. Where her daughter can study during day time and not on the night time as they worry for her safety due to those venomous animals such as snakes.
She usually will bring along her laptop, wireless modem and would spend around 2-3 hours to study there for her learning session and examinations. While she did mention that something she worries is that she might have to switch on her handphone camera to allow lectures to monitor her on the examination from 23 November – 3 December with the difficult internet connection where it usually provides insufficient connection and if the internet disconnects, she has to start all over again with no additional time given.
Meanwhile, the tent is not very comfortable when it is raining time but as they don’t have any other choice now. So what do you think about the government when even our 4G network is still this weak, comparing to other countries.
