With the spiking cases of coronavirus from quite a lot of countries such as Spain has declared emergency which may extend to March 2021, while the UK announced 1-month lockdown, France with 2 weeks lockdown, Germany with 4 weeks lockdown and Italy also following shortly. It seems the 2 wave of the coronavirus is deadlier. So here are the 20 things from which you’re presumably to catch coronavirus.

 

Any “High Touch” Surface

When you are touching some surface which has been touch a lot of times throughout the day and when you touch your face or rub your eyes, mouth, or nose can transmit the virus and make your chance of getting infected is high. Therefore, simply sanitize these areas before you touching them will be much better.

 

Elevator Buttons

Elevators are one of the essential things in our life as buildings are being built in high-rise way in a lot of countries, therefore with every single person having to go through these lift or elevator, especially the buttons have a high chance of getting coronavirus spread.

 

Door Knobs

Due to the fact that everyone has to touch the doorknob, it is one of the places where the virus can spread here and there are facts that the virus actually can stay longer in these copper surfaces and it is best to sanitize this area more frequently.

 

Your or Others Phone

You should avoid touching other people’s gadgets during this time of pandemic because you never know where did the person has went throughout the day or lending someone to touch your phone.

 

Other People’s Hands

Yep, other people’s hands can definitely set a chance of carrying coronavirus so before you decided to touch or hold someone’s hand, perhaps you can think of another way to greet them instead.

 

Stair Rails

Whether you are at someone’s house, hospital, or public places, you will have this habit to hold onto the stair rail which is also another place where you can easily get the virus transmitted.

 

Light Switches

These made of plastic and definitely touched by several individuals will be one surface to which anyone can easily get transmitted.

 

Vending Machine Buttons


As we all are most likely to purchase from these vending machines due to their strategic placement, it is actually another place where you can easily get this virus too because the surface of the button might have gone through a lot of usages by a lot of people.

 

Your Own Gloves or Mask


Wearing a mask or gloves can prevent you from getting the coronavirus, however, if you aren’t careful when removing these masks or gloves in a proper way, you can actually get the virus too.

 

Computer Keyboard


Certainly not your own keyboard we are talking here, we are talking about those touch-screen or keyboard available at public places where the surface might have gone through a lot of other people usage here. Which you might never know who or how many people have been using it in the past.

 

 Bus or Train Seats


If you are taking public transportation, you must aware of these high-touch points where it incomes the seats there as most people will commonly get used to touching the surface of the seat with their hand.

 

Airplane Surfaces


Similar to the bus or train, the airplane surface or your seat surface has high chances of getting infected too as it is very common for everyone to hold onto something while they are boarding plane time.

 

Subway/Train Standing Poles


It is very common that every commuter will hold onto these rail as they board on train time. Therefore, it is best to wear gloves or sanitize the poles before you use it.

 

Hotel Rooms or Rentals

According to studies, hotel rooms or rental room has high chances of getting these virus transmitted if the room didn’t go through full sanitizing, as the common routine in the past were just changing the bed sheet, sweeping and another minor cleaning task only.

 

Credit Card Terminals or ATM Machines

Similar to the touch screen keyboard layout from the airport, these atm terminals has a high chance of getting you transmitted too,  so right after you touch these surface, remember to sanitize your hand before getting back into your car or once you exit the atm area.

 

Pens, Pencils, and Other Writing Instruments


If you ever required to use or borrow a pen/pencil at some public places. Think again, these pen or pencil might have gone through a lot of touches by someone else. Therefore, sanitize it or try to bring your own pen if you are planning to go to these banks or places which you are required to fill in some form.

 

Takeout/ Serving Utensils


Due to some studies, these utensils which usually provided in some stacks of storage might go through some virus transmitted due to if someone has coughed or sneeze earlier and went to grab some utensils there. So again, it is wiser for you to sanitize this utensil before you use it.

 

Gym Equipment


Gym arent the cleanest place the most due to the sweats and bacteria at these places after someone has gone through the exercise. So if you are required to drop by at the gym for your next workout, it would be wise for you to actually minimize your touching point and try to sanitize or wear gloves to avoid getting transmitted.

Yes, your cash. It is not something that we can avoid right, well. You can avoid cash payment nowadays simply by using cashless payment.
