Tampines Hub Decorate With 22 Chandelier Made from Recycled Material And Goes into Book Of Records’ Singapore
Now the Christmas decoration is starting to swarm the whole Singapore shopping mall from Orchard Road to Changi Airport, where Tampines residents might witness something even more spectacular as there will be 22 massive chandeliers made from recycled material.
These 22 massive chandeliers also made their way into the Singapore Book Records as Singapore’s largest Display of Chandeliers made up of Recycled Materials. The chandeliers were a part of the OTH Goes Green which is also Singapore’s largest eco-hub. These chandeliers also using energy-saving light bulbs that are used and can last up to 25,000 hours and for those who wanted to learn more about the OTH Goes Green, you can check out the OTH’s Festive Walk East from 7-29 Nov.
These chandeliers were also handmade piece by piece by more than 500 volunteers and Tampines residents and through the making process, participants explored the different relationships they had to go through with the materials in their everyday surroundings. There is also a contest happening now till 22 November (Sunday) where there will be a simple question of How many Chandeliers are decorated above the Festive Walk East and West.
