Jetstar Asia Will Start to Operate Transit Flights Through Singapore from 6 cities
The Jetstar Asia will start to transit passengers from Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Phnom Penh through Singapore to nine onwards destinations if their connection is within 48 hours. Which 3 airline transit flights have so far been reinstated by Singapore Airlines Group (SIA). This transiting passenger is required to book the full journey in one booking and they must check with the relevant authorities that the requirement for their destination is fulfilled before boarding.
During check-in, all passengers will receive a wristband which they are required to wear throughout the journey to allow identification by airport or airline staff, and upon arriving in Singapore, all transit passengers will be guided by airport staff to the transit holding area or transit hotel. This decision to reintroduce transit travel through Singapore was a positive step for the airline’s recovery as low fare services play an important role in helping customers to reconnect back with their family, back to work, and other essential travels.
