NParks to Distribute another 60,000 Free Seeds packets to the public which includes watermelon and Kangkong
Due to the earlier response on the first distribution from The National Parks Board (NParks) where they have distributed edible seeds to members of the public which received overwhelmingly great response. Therefore, now there will be another 60,000 free seed packets distributions which this round will include watermelon and kangkong also.
This announcement was made by Minister for National Development Desmond Lee on 24 Oct and among the 60,000 packets, there are 10,000 seeds packets which are more unique and challenging edibles for more experienced public members who have attended the NParks gardening masterclasses.
The remaining 50,000 seed packets consist of beginner-friendly seeds such as bayam and kangkong and can be redeemed on the Community Garden Festival programme on NParks Facebook between 2pm and 4pm on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, 2020.
