Thai Airways Earns $431,700 a Month From Selling Fried Dough Sticks
Thai Airways amidst from their bankruptcy news they somehow manage to find another way to survive and apart from getting the public to pay to be a flight attendant for a day the airlines also making a smart creative move by selling fried dough sticks, which are known as Patong-go where it earning 10 million baths ($431,781) within 1 month of time.
These snacks are sold in a set of 3 pcs of this fried dough which comes with a dipping sauce made from purple sweet potato and egg custard for 50 baths per set ($2.16). These fried dough sticks were so popular that it created a long queue for these snacks forming in the airline’s five food outlets in Bangkok every single morning.
Other than this, the airline’s branch at Silom has also launched a cafeteria where they are selling in-flights meals in which you can find foods from Indian and Western cuisine.
