Some of the Most Secluded and Peaceful Hotel In Singapore For Your Quiet Relaxing Time

Some of the Most Secluded and Peaceful Hotel In Singapore For Your Quiet Relaxing Time

Our daily life in Singapore might be giving us some stress daily due to the rushing to work, stuck in a jam or public transport and there will be times when you just want to escape from all these and have a peaceful time all by yourself. Here are some of the places where it is totally secluded from traffic and you can just relax your mind and soul to make yourself fully recharge again.

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa

Another secluded accommodation on Sentosa, Sofitel Singapore Resort & Spa is a super posh resort perched on a clifftop near Tanjong Beach – so it doesn’t get any more peaceful than this. Choose to stay at one of the luxury garden rooms, inspired by Paris’ Jardin du Luxembourg. Take in sights of the beautiful manicured gadens, separated by a floor to ceiling sliding glass panel door. And if you’re lucky, you might just spot one of the island’s peacocks outside your room.

Price: From $400 per night

The Lorong 24A Shophouse Series

Wander around the heritage-rich Geylang neighbourhood and you’ll chance upon the Lorong 24A Shophouse Series, a locally-run, design-led serviced residence featuring curated spaces for private living. While each shophouse has a similar, carefully-conserved facade, each door opens up into an intriguingly different spatial experience – each shophouse boasting their own uniquely designed stand-out features. Live out a vintage fantasy at the Sapporo Loft, decked out in minimalist decor and a dark mellow colour palette flanked by high ceilings; or be transported to Finland at the effortlessly chic Helsinki Loft, characterised by crisp white walls, neutral accents and a number of picturesque paintings.

Price: From $128 per night

Hotel Fort Canning

Branding itself as “an urban oasis in the city”, we must say that Hotel Fort Canning falls nowhere short of this claim. On top of its classy selection of rooms and suites, ranging from open-concept deluxe rooms to highly indulgent suites that span up to 90 square metres, the HFC experience is one that goes out of its way to provide you with everything good about the world: a state-of-the-art gym, an idyllic pool, and even a spa the promises sheer bliss.

Price: From $285 per night

Villa Samadhi Singapore

Housed in a 20th-century black and white mansion hidden in the verdant greenery of Labrador Nature Reserve, Villa Samadhi Singapore is a sanctuary not too far away from the CBD. Choose from 30 rooms across four room categories – Crib, Luxe Crib, Sarang, and Luxe Sarang – with each room featuring rustic, monochrome and minimalist decor that echo the hotel’s colonial-inspired vibes. For dinner, take a two-minute stroll through the jungle boardwalk to Tamarind Hill, a restaurant serving contemporary Thai and Shang cuisine, housed in a stand-alone bungalow.

Price: From $252 per night

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

One of our favourite hotels in the tranquil, tree-lined Orchard Boulevard, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is an oasis of calm at the edge of the bustling shopping district. Head up to the 20th floor to take in panoramic views of the entire city, take a leisurely stroll to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, or wind down with a cocktail at the One-Ninety Bar. Planning to shop till you drop? The district’s megamalls are just a walking distance away.

Price: From $406 per night

Capella Singapore

Set against a lush rainforest and the South China Sea, old meets new seamlessly at Sentosa’s six-star luxury hotel, where modern fixtures hug restored historical buildings. Book one of the resort’s premium sea view rooms or one-bedroom villas for a rejuvenating staycation. Spend the day taking a refreshing dip in the resort’s pool, admiring the historic architecture, or simply luxuriating in your in-room bathtub.

Price: From $624 per night

Lloyd’s Inn

A stone’s throw away from the vibrant shopping district of Orchard Road and a one-minute walk from the iconic Oxley House, Lloyd’s Inn offers visitors a retreat experience like no other. Pretty imposing at first glance with its monochromatic concrete walls that provide a harsh juxtaposition to the surrounding nature and old conventional architecture, get ready to be welcomed by a sense of peaceful comfort. The rooms are bathed in soft natural light and decorated with Nordic minimalism, which makes you feel like you’re being whisked away to a cosy Airbnb in Europe. The facilities aren’t grand, but the roof terrace and foliage-lined pool are idyllic enough to lull you into serenity.

Price: From $170 per night

The Barracks Hotel Sentosa

Treat yourself to a posh staycation at The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, a heritage hideaway housed in a restored British artillery outpost on Sentosa. The resort’s handsomely designed rooms and suites are a nod to its past, with luxurious touches such as dark wood grains, warm brass, leather-accented furnishing, soft cotton, and vintage trinkets. Spend the weekend basking in the pool set amidst an idyllic setting in the midst of heritage buildings.

Price: From $530 per night
