7 Eleven Launch Durian Mooncake With Mao Shan Wang, D24 and Red Prawn As Inner Filling
As the Mid-Autumn festival will come in the month of October, you can actually start to pre-order for some special mooncakes, and for this first time, 7-Eleven are also rolling out a series of Durian Snowskin Mooncakes which you can order in advance at selected 7-Eleven outlet.
These free pork and lard mooncakes are made of premium silky, smooth snow skin and stuffed with pure durian pulp. According to 7-Eleven, the treats contain no preservatives, sugar, or cream. The flavors are pretty intriguing — instead of the typical Mao Shan Wang, which other mooncake brands also offer, the chain has three durian cultivars for customers to choose from. They are D24, Red Prawn and, yep, Mao Shan Wang (the Musang King is just too popular to exclude, we guess).
Now, you can get the mooncakes in five different combinations. If you pre-order ’em before September 6, you can enjoy “introductory prices”. Check out the combos below:
- Mao Shan Wang Mooncakes (4 pieces, 150g each), $68 (usual price $75)
- D24 Mooncakes (4 pieces, 150g each), $62 (usual price $68)
- Red Prawn Mooncakes (4 pieces, 150g each), $62 (usual price $68)
- 4-Piece Mixed Flavours (2x Mao Shan Wang, 1x D24, 1x Red Prawn), $65 (usual price $72)
- 2-Piece Mixed Flavours (1x Mao Shan Wang, 1x D24), $35 (usual price $39)
