Sengkang Kopitiam Saw Huge Crowds On 18 Aug With Many Patrons Didn’t Wear Mask Too
Singapore now has gradually eased into the new norm of wearing a face mask, safe distancing, and also meeting in a group of fewer people. However, on Tuesday (18 Aug) night, a Sengkang Kopitiam drew a huge crowd on appeared to be its opening day.
In the video shared on Facebook, there seems to be a large crowd that can be seen at the Kopitiam on 455 Sengkang West Avenue. Patrons were seen flouting the Covid-19 Safety guidelines and the gathering are more than 5 people per group.
Others brought up how this is sadly not an isolated incident, but instead, a common sight at kopitiams. One netizen was frustrated at the situation as she had a similar experience at another Kopitiam. Despite lodging numerous reports, the situation had apparently not changed.
