S’pore Ez Link and M’sia Touchn’ Go Officially Collaborate: Now 1 Card With 2 Countries Usage
The Malaysia-Singapore Pass is officially launched! Friends who often travel back and forth between Singapore and Malaysia must get one! EZ-Link x Touch’n Go Motoring Card is jointly launched by Singapore’s EZ-link company and Malaysia’s Touch n’Go Card company. The Malaysia-Singapore Passport is a cross-border dual currency integrated card that supports SGD and MYR and can be used in Singapore and Malaysia.
In Malaysia, the Malaysia-Singapore Toll Card can be used to pay highway tolls, parking fees, MRT and public buses, and can also be used to check out at stores that support TNG Card payment.
In Singapore, it can be used to pay Electronic Road Pricing fees, tolls and parking fees, which is very convenient. This card is expected to have a wider range of uses in the future. It can be used for shopping or dining in both countries.
The passcard is actually a card with two electronic wallets, EZ-Link and Touch’n Go. These two wallets can only be recharged in Singapore and Malaysia in an existing way. In other words, if you want to top up new coins, you can only use the app or go to the top-up point to top up; if you want to top up ringgit, you can only top up on the Touch n’Go machine in Malaysia.
When used in two places, the local currency will be deducted from the pass card, so there is no exchange rate issue. At present, the EZ-Link x Touch’n Go Motoring Card has been officially launched in the Lazada EZ-Link official online store in Singapore, and the price is only 7S$.
The card will be issued in a limited edition at EZ-Link’s Lazada store in Singapore on August 17, 2020 , priced at S$7, but two of the e-wallets are worthless. It will be launched at S$10 in selected 7-11 stores in Singapore in September 2020, including S$3 in the EZ-Link wallet.
