Former National Footballer Rafi Ali Runs Family Briyani Stall at Tanjong Pagar
As many would know Rafi Ali as the former national footballer but not many know that he is currently helping out his family’s briyani shop at Tanjong Pagar. The shop which is called Ali Nachia Eating House was started in 2002 by his father and the stall was located at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station before moving over to Tanjong Pagar Plaza in 2011 when the railway station was closed.
On this year January, they have moved to a coffee shop at Hoe Chiang Road, and Rafi revealed that their family is offered to run the entire coffee shop when the tenant moved out in May this year. Now, this coffee shop serves nasi Padang which is run by Din Safari and his sister where you can get the Tarik and kaya toast stall run by Rostam by local band Shagies.
