Woman Accused of Refused To Give Way And Blocking Traffic, Because Cabby Bully Her

An incident occurred outside Katong Shopping Centre last Thu (Aug 6) around 5.10 pm. Where a Facebook user Heng Mis Kim shows a white multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) stopped at the mall’s exit and blocking another car. Heng is believed to be the driver of the taxi behind of the white MPV.

Heng said that he was trying to exit the mall when he encountered the MPV driver and not having her signal lights turned on. As he tries to honk the female driver, she refused to budge and even allegedly challenged him to lodge a complaint with the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

The white MPV owner, 42-year-old woman Ms Zhang said that she was trying to reverse from the right lane so that she could stop on the left lane to unload goods. However, the cabby was too impatient and left her unable to reverse which resulted in the standstill.

Luckily on the day, another driver helped to persuade the cabby to back up a little so she can park. The whole incident caused a 10 min dead traffic lock before the matter was resolved.
