Student Shared Deep Thoughts Regarding Not Every School Is A Good School Yet
We all might come to a question when it comes to a good school or bad school and everyone might think that a good school will come a good bright future while a bad school or less famous school, the student might come out with fewer advantages.
Sunday (2 Aug) a netizen come forward to challenge this mindset and revealed that the whole mindset of these was not as correct as what we might think. Mr. Chan, who begins his journey in Yio Chu Kang Secondary (YCKSS) where he didn’t always do well in PSLE and due to he wanted to study literature, the only thing he realized is that Pure Literature for O levels was not offered in YCKSS. So he decided to transfer to a school that offers Pure Literature, which is the Montfort Secondary. Which this decision changed his life.
He discovered that the difference between both schools was that the first secondary school has tables that are poor in a condition which have wax peeling off and shaky rusting chairs while the new school has better equipment but a jarring dissonance between teachers are so the contrast is different. The teacher mindset in a good school which chooses to believe in their students and offers quality consultation learning environment and study notes where Chan mentioned that his grades were directly impacted by the relative improvement in environments and customized notes. While compared to the old school, he enquired about the spirits of class where his English head of Department (HOD) who told him, either nobody will join or everyone will fail as the whole spirit of the class is so strong.
But the whole stories are reflected that the difference in the quality of education was affected by the access to the lesson they experience and beyond classroom walls which learning institution themself should also examine if they are giving kids everything they need to excel and providing more options and deeper understand on students needs.
