Man Allegedly Threw Rice Place at Cleaner and Pushed Her After She Mistaken Cleared His Coffee
A man was charged in court on Wednesday (Aug 5) after he saw using force to push a cleaner and causing hurt to her at Quality Road Food Centre. Phua Meng Wee, 44, is accused of throwing a plate of rice at Ms Ho Gek Yeow at the hawker centre on Feb 5, at 11.02 am.

The man who allegedly pushed her 3 times later after that causing her to fall and according to the local news, the incident was caused by the man after his coffee was being cleared away by the cleaner.
And Ms Ho told the news that she fell twice during the dispute and showed them a picture was taken after she had rice thrown at her. And later on after the incident, Ms Ho finds that she has some tightness in her chest afterwards and discovered that her right shoulder was slightly fractured.
Phua’s pre-trial conference will be held on Sept 2, reported The Straits Times. If convicted of assault, he can be jailed for up to three years and fined up to $5,000. Anyone convicted of using criminal force on another person can be jailed for up to three months and fined up to $1,500.
