Different weight loss methods have been popular on the Internet. Recently, South Korea has launched the “5:2 intermittent weight loss method” and the “REWD? Time limit eating method”. It is said that this method is suitable for most people, and it has been proved to be very effective after research. Let’s take a look at these two special weight loss methods:

What is 5:2 weight loss

The so-called 5:2 means choosing 2 out of 7 days a week to go on a diet. During these two days, your calorie intake is less than your basal metabolism, which is reduced to 1/4 of your normal daily, and you only eat two in a day. Between meals, 10-12 hours should be used to get used to hunger. In general, the recommended intake for girls is 500 calories a day and 600 calories for boys. And eat normally for the other 5 days. The purpose of this is to force me to eat lighter within a week so that the digestive organs can rest?? The liver can also detoxify through these two days.

What to eat in those two days
“diet” is not the same as “not eating at all.” You must eat more “seriously” in these two days. A clearer statement should be to choose more healthy and natural foods, try to eat low-glycemic index, non-processed raw food, low-fat meat (ex. chicken breast), vegetable and fruit fiber, non-refined starch (ex. Brown rice, whole wheat) can achieve the desired effect. We absolutely don’t recommend the hunger strike method that is as hungry as possible without evidence!

In addition to the 5:2 weight loss method for time-restricted food intake therapy (REWD), a weight-loss method that has become more and more popular in Korea due to its effectiveness through scientific research is the “restricted time eating method (REWD).” Some people think it is similar to the concept of 5:2 time limit eating, but the REWD diet method does not specifically limit calories. As long as the three meals are controlled within 10 hours, what you eat is not the most critical (of course ingredients and portion control Will be more divided). This way can reduce calorie intake by 20%! Isn’t it exciting!

Gradually getting used to hunger.
Some people will only eat lunch and dinner during the “5:2 weight loss method” these two days. The reason is that the time between dinner and lunch the next day is longer, allowing the body to consume more calories. And at the beginning of the implementation, you will definitely feel very hungry. That is normal. After the second week of implementation, you will start to get used to it, and the hunger will not be so strong.

 

Can’t even drink water if you fast?
Sugary drinks are not allowed during fasting, but water is, of course, you can drink! During the diet, you must drink more water than usual, and you must not forget to add water every day.

Can I exercise during weight loss?
Because the 5:2 calorie intake is much lower than the base metabolic rate, we do not recommend high-intensity exercise during this period, such as HIIT, TABATA, etc. If you really want to exercise, you can still do yoga that soothes your body and mind or slow aerobic dances that don’t get out of breath.

 

You can feel your body changes in four months.
Don’t give up because you don’t see any results in the first 2 weeks of weight loss. If you implement it carefully, you can probably feel your body changes in the fourth week. So remember that you can never lose weight too quickly, you must give yourself a little time and perseverance! Let’s encourage it!
