Elderly Woman Sent Flying after being Hit By Van When Jaywalking
On earlier Friday (31 Jul) an elderly woman who was jaywalking across a road at Jurong West Avenue 1 is rush and hit by a van which sent her flying in front of the van. The whole incident which was recorded by a netizen which happens to the car besides that van with shocks on what they saw in front of them and quickly stop their car to help the elder.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDP) were called into the scene but strangely they could no located the elder lady involved in the accident. Perhaps the van or other good netizen nearby has helped to sent the elder to a hospital nearby.
From the video, you can hear the couple inside the car was screaming in shocks after they see the elder woman was hit by the van and sent off flying. And hopefully that she will make a full recovery soon and as a reminder to all people out there, jaywalking is very dangerous and just please be more cautious when crossing the road.
