A 44-year-old man will be charged in court for using criminal force and voluntarily causing hurt to others where he pushed a food cleaner at the Boon Lay hawker centre at 45 Quality Road on Feb 5. The police were alerted on the case and the man will be charged on Aug 5.
The offence the man did was using criminal force under Section 352 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries an imprisonment term of up to three months, or a fine of up to S$1,500, or both.
The offence of voluntary causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code carries an imprisonment term of up to three years, or with a fine of up to S$5,000, or both.
