10 Arrested With Drugs Worth $800k In Multiple CNB Raids
A drug square raid has managed to be arrested with $800,000 worth of narcotics including 11kg of heroin and 10 arrested, among the arrested were all Singaporean which are nine men and 1 woman, aged between 28-62.
Apart from heroin, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) also seized 101g of methamphetamine, also known as Ice, 30 Ecstasy tablets and fragments, one Erimin-5 tablet, and $18,400 in cash. Meanwhile on another raid, after 2 CNB officers observe 2 Singapore men in Woodlands Avenue 6 and arrested them when they alighted from the vehicle in Woodlands Street 13 where the officer found 12 packets of 90g heroin and 7 packets with 87.5 ice.
Later on, the officer also raided the 51-year-old man’s residential unit in Woodlands Avenue 6 and found 646g of heroin and 3g of ice inside. While another unit of CNB team raiding a residential unit in Rivervale Drive and a 53-year-old Singaporean man for drug trafficking offenses. More than 5kg of heroin was recovered from the unit.
While another raid results in 4 more Singaporeans arrest which the suspect drug consumption at Choa Chu Kang Street 51 and Teck Whye Crescent. Officer then raided the residential unit at Choa Chu Kang where a 50-year-old man sought to evade capture and fell out of a window. He was taken conscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital where he is in stable condition, the unit found 1g of heroin, three packets containing 5g of Ice, 20 Ecstasy tablets and one Erimin-5 tablet. And also car keys in the unit led officers to a rented vehicle, where four bundles containing 1,904g of heroin were recovered.
