On 31st July, Mummy Yummy has shared the news that they will be expanding their business, with the latest news that they will be taking over the business of Eight Immortals Vegetarian Restaurant, which is one of the largest vegetarian restaurant chains in Singapore.
The Eight Immortals Vegetarian Restaurant started off as a small hawker at Boon Lay in 1983 where later on this franchise occupies 13 locations at various food courts around Singapore and was once having a peak of 30 stalls islandwide too. But, the owner of this vegetarian shop is reaching on their eighties, therefore it is hard for them to continue running this business while the owner’s son is not taking over the business. Therefore, the owner decides to hand over this vegetarian business to Mummy Yummy.
According to the FB post, owners of the Eight Immortals are close with Mummy Yummy therefore they believe that Mummy Yummy will certainly take good care of their vegetarian chain and continue on this legends.
