Mother of Baby Abandoned In Recycling Bin At Tai Keng Garden Arrested
A woman believed to the child’s mother on the earlier case of a baby boy being abandoned inside a recycling bin along with Tai Keng Gardens earlier was arrested after a thorough ground investigation and use of images from CCTV footage provided by residents. The woman believes to be a 29-year-old Indonesian woman who has abandoned the baby.
At the moment, police are still investigating and identifying the baby’s father. Meanwhile, the woman will be charged in court on July 30 with the exposure and abandonment of a child under 12 years old. If convicted, she will be jailed for up to seven years, fined, or both.
The baby boy who were found in the recycling bin earlier was alerted by the resident after a faint whimpering sound inside the bin, the baby which has been placed in a paper shopping bag with a white cloth covering his face. While no visible injuries were found on the baby and his condition was stable.
