Safe-Distancing Ambassador Allegedly Address Woman As Sir In Geylang Serai
As the coronavirus is still lurking around, the safe-distancing ambassadors continue to ensure the safety of all Singaporean and ensuring everyone is following the Covid-19 measures.
However, on 22 Jul, a viral video of 2 safe-distancing ambassadors who allegedly mistook a woman’s gender and later asked for her IC began circulated on social media. In the video, the woman seems to follow the ambassador while the ambassadors keep repeating on addressing her as “Sir” which somehow triggers her to respond in anger. After the woman in the video retrieved her IC from her car and the ambassador then said she apologized for the blunder and addressed her respectfully using Sir and Madam.
