S’pore Student Leaves Pocket Money as Tip And Apologises for Not Able to Finish The Meal
Sometimes, we might just happen to stumble upon some heartwarming stories especially on this stories, which happens on July 17. Where a student left a handwritten note for a restaurant after she has left where she apologized for not able to finish off her meal. She even left a $2 tip which was her pocket money for the day.
So does this really make any sense as the food portion was too huge for her and she apologize for it in a handwritten note? Don’t these messages just give you a sudden strike in your heart that in today’s work, these heartwarming stories still exist. According to the Chef Kang’s Prawn Noodle house, where this girl comes with her mother and sister as they ordered the prawn noodles, the girl couldn’t finish off that meal but she commented that it was big and was totally worth it.
With this kind gesture, which touched the restaurant’s staff, who shared that the business has been badly hit by the Covid-19, so as in appreciations, the restaurant later invited the young customer and her parents and even her teacher to the store to have a free lunch. And they did manage to contact the girl’s mother in the end.
