The earlier case of a lorry driver, Teo Seng Tiong, 59 who goes into a collision with a cyclist earlier on January 2020 which causing hurt to the cyclist, Eric Cheung Hoyu, 36 were sentenced to serve his jail terms immediately after his appeal against his actions and the sentence was tossed out by the High Court on July 20.
Teo also convicted for failing to report the accident to the police within 24 hours and were sentenced for a 7 weeks’ jail, fined $500 and disqualified from driving for two years. While Cheung also pleaded guilty to committing mischief and causing obstruction by riding his bicycle in the middle of the lane and he was fined $2,800 in April 2019.
Guess, this might be a great lesson for both of them and hopefully, they both will be aware of the road regulation on later days.
