Migrant Workers Volunteers To Trim Overgrown Grass Near HDB Blocks
While most of us are resting on Sunday 19 Jul morning, a group of migrant workers volunteers and banded together at Toh Yi Estate to trim the grass and maintain the estate area. Many of these volunteers have just arrived at the estate and are currently living at nearby Kismis Apartments.
This heartwarming collaboration was revealed by Senior Minister of State Sim Ann and according to her, these workers are volunteering to help out on their rest day which as a part of preventing the mosquitoes breeding. Lots of netizens were taking these migrant workers for their efforts and we are thankful that our migrant workers have shown that they care for Singapore too.
