An NUS Students Take Bans From Campus After Climbing His Ex-Girlfriend House and Strangle her
A National University of Singapore (NUS) student was suspended and not allowed on campus after strangled his ex-girlfriend. The accuser, Yin Zi Qin, a 23-year-old dental student will be sentenced to 12 days of detention and with suspension which he is not allowed on campus.
The incident happens on May 9, 2019. Yin has broken up with his girlfriend over ways in the morning and he climbs into her bedroom window from an adjacent showroom unit later that night. He mentioned that he was motivated by a desire to speak to her and present her with roses seeking to mend the relationship as then he was rejected that leads him to place his hand on her neck and tried to strangle the victim.
Yin had pleaded guilty to one charge of voluntarily causing hurt and for this, he might be jailed up to two years, a fine of $5,000 or both.
