The Pandan Family Otter Spotted Along Pandan Reservoir
A lesser-known family of otters who usually seem living at the west of Singapore and because they are usually residing in the area near Pandan Reservoir, so they are known as the Pandan family. On July 18, they seem to be enjoying some good evening on the sand walkway as it is being spotted by some netizen.
From those video captured, there is around 7 of this member of otters which were having their good time rolling and rubbing against the sandy pavement and other netizens just calmly waiting them to enjoy their happy rubbing sessions. They left after around 10 minutes of rolling there after that.
For those who aren’t sure, why otter roll on the grass or in sand it was actually a behavior that to realign their fur so that they can have better movement during swimming. But always remember to keep a safe distance from all wild animals as otter might turn aggressive when they feel threatened. Plus never feed this otter as this might alter their natural behavior.
