Mediacorp Apologize For Negative Gay Stereotypes and Will Be More Mindful In Future
Mediacorp gets a backlash for their recent portrayal of gay stereotypes in the drama title of My Guardian Angels. Where the drama highlighting that they gay characters in the drama were portrayed as a pedophile who has a sexually transmitted disease who molest young boys.
The netizen then has expressed their discontentment with Mediacorp on social media and Mediacorp has since apologized and acknowledged the need to be more careful when it comes to representing characters in the future.
