Different Type of Laksa and Where To Grab Them

Laksa is among one of the favorites food which is no longer a stranger to us all here. With the spicy, aromatic broth laden with thick rice noodles that will keep your tummy warm during the cold and rainy day. Here are some of the laksa here in Singapore and where to get them.

Curry Laksa/ Nyonya Laksa – Nyonya Laksa is a variant of the curry which are more commonly found here, comes with a rich coconut-based soup that is cooked with chicken bones or prawn shells. You can check out this bowl of creamy, aromatic coconut aftertaste of laksa here.

Penang Asam laksa – the dish that doesn’t contain rich coconut cream soup based by instead are more spicy and tangy in a fish broth that is packed with lemongrass, galangal, and chili. You will usually get fresh condiments like sliced cucumbers, onions, mint, pineapples, and sweet prawn paste nestled gently on top of the bowl. Here is one place you can check out for a good bowl of Penang Asam laksa.

Sarawak Laksa – the more subtle, mild flavour where the brother is made with a combination of sambal belacan, coconut milk, tamarind, garlic, galangal and lemongrass. It usually topped with peeled boiled prawns and chopped coriander leaves. You can get them here at:

Dry laksa – usually are made of thick vermicelli noodles then stir-fried directly with the laksa paste and you can check out this fancy upmarket ingredient like lobster, grilled tiger prawns and sakura ebi to mix with the minimum order of $12 for delivery and delivery fee is free for orders above $60, you can check it out here.
