M’sia Confirms S’pore-JB Rail Project Back On Track
On Sunday, 12 Jul, we have finally reached great news after several attempts of deferements on the highly anticipated Singapore-JB rail link project which we would always want it to gets it done to ease up the traveling process for a lot of us.
According to the local news, the Johor’s chief minister Hasni Mohammad said that Malaysia and Singapore will be inking the agreement on this project at the end of July. This project is connecting Johor Bahru’s Bukit Chagar area (Nearby JB central) with Woodlands North MRT stations.
31 Jul is the final deadline granted by our Singapore government for this dubbed Rapid Transit System (RTS) and it was supposed to started constructions last year but it comes with multiple delays wth some major obstacles such as the change of government in Malaysia and ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
With these new projects, it might be great news for Woodlands folks as there will be also having a massive style shopping malls upgrades which will surely bring more new attractions on Woodlands if this Singapore-JB rail link project are successfully inked this round.
