10 Must-Try Food at Chinatown Streets Included Kway Chap, Tim Sum, Tang Yuan

If you are looking for a one-stop place with lots of varieties of Chinese food. Chinatown is home to various local delights with warm desserts and more.

1. Ri Ri Hong Chinatown Mala – famous for the Mala choice of spicy with 3 levels to choose from. And you can even choose the spice free options.

Opening Hours: 11am – 9.30pm (Daily)

 

2. Jin Ji Teochew Braised Duck and Kway Chap – for those who are hunting for classic Teochew food, you may wanna try these 30 years of the recipe of braised duck and they even have other dishes as Kway Chap also.

3.Hong Kong Mongkok Tim Sum – for those who crave for dim sum place, but do aware that this place only sells 6 of their best kinds of dim sums. This is because they only do the best they can offer and recommended to be there early before they run out of favorites dishes.

4. 101 Kampung Mountain Durian – for those who crave for durians as this is one of the Singapore’s reputable durian seller, where you can get it even when it is not during the famous durian season.

5. Famous Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa – this is a no stranger place to local here with them being a Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee, you can get this affordable and mouth-watering laksa with the less strong coconut taste here.

6. Beng Who Cooks – this is a definitely great choice for those Muslim friends as they serve hall poke bowl of rice rich with a local twist.

8. Mei Heong Yuen Dessert – for those who are looking for traditional desserts, here are the best place to go as they offer both hot and cold dessert options.
